Better health literacy for better health!

CAUTION! Using Google

Be cautious using internet resources located using search engines such as Google. The value of web resources for scholarly research should always be carefully questioned. For a review of the process for evaluating web resources, please view this Youtube tutorial: Google Scholar and Google Books are two seach engines added to this page and can can be useful at times in locating esoteric references and resources.

NOTE: Wikipedia is seldom used in college level research! If you have questions regarding the use of any information resource, please contact your instructor for clarification.

Google Scholar

Yes, scholarly articles are also available in Google.  However, the full text is not freely available for all the articles.  A few are free, and if the article is available in any of the Barry databases, it will provide access to the full text.  Note: searching must be done through the Barry server in order to be linked to the full text.
