Below is a brief list of some of the books available in the Law Library to get you started in your research. Don't forget that you can search WorldCat for other resources, and then use our Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) service to get your selections delivered to our Law Library! For full instructions on how to order books from other libraries through ILLiad, see the bottom box, "Borrowing from Other Libraries."
Use ILLiad to Request an Interlibrary Loan
Do you need to look at a book or article that is not available here in the Law Library? Barry Law Library belongs to a network of libraries that lend each other books and articles. If your research requires a source that Barry does not have, you can borrow that source from another library in the network. This service is called interlibrary loan. ILLiad is the system Barry Law Library uses to borrow other libraries’ sources.
To request an interlibrary loan using ILLiad:
New users can register for ILLiad by going to https://barry.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/FJQ/logon.html, clicking on First Time Users, and filling out the form. The law school address will be sufficient for the address field. Please make note of your user name and password.
