Searching the Catalog
If you want to see if the Law Library owns something, search the Library catalog--it's easy! Go to BarryLawLibrary Home to run a basic search for the item you're looking for. This searches both print and digital library materials.
Your results will include items from both the Main Library and the Law Library. You can use digital resources from the Main Library, but if you want a print book or a DVD, be sure to click on Law Library on the left side of the screen.
Searching for DVDs
To search specifically for DVDs in the Law Library, go to the Library catalog's Advanced Search page BarryLawLibrary. Type in a keyword and make the following limits:
DVDs are behind the Circulation Desk and can be checked out there.
Please note: The Law Library does not have a DVD player or a computer that can play DVDs. In order to watch them, you must take them home and play them on your own equipment.
Do you need to borrow something from another library? Interlibrary loan, or ILL, is a system libraries use to borrow books and other items from each other. If you need something Barry Law Library doesn't have, you can submit an ILL request for that item--it's easy! Follow the ILL instructions on our website. We will do our best to get what you need. Be sure to put your request in as early as possible because sometimes it can take a little time to get a response from another library.
