II. Historical note
The opportunities for student involvement in campus activities are endless. There are numerous student organizations that meet the needs and interests of students. United by the Student Organization Council (S.O.C.) and funded by the Student Government Association (S.G.A.), these groups encompass a wide range of interests and welcome student participation.
Students recipient of academic scholarships are encourage to participate in Barry University Honors Program. This program will offer them additional opportunities to analyze problems, synthetize theories and actions, evaluate issues facing current complex society and develop leadership skills.
