CAUTION! Using Google

Be cautious using internet resources located using search engines such as Google. The value of web resources for scholarly research should always be carefully questioned. For a review of the process for evaluating web resources, please view this Youtube tutorial: Google Scholar and Google Books are two seach engines added to this page and can can be useful at times in locating esoteric references and resources.

NOTE: Wikipedia is seldom used in college level research! If you have questions regarding the use of any information resource, please contact your instructor for clarification.

If an article is available in any of the Barry databases, the link Full-Text @ Barry Library will provide access to the full text. If an article is available through another source [PDF], [DOC], or [HTML] will be noted next to the article.

 

Remember:

  • Search Google Scholar when you are logged in to the Barry server in order to obtain the full text.
  • Always evaluate the source and content of any article before including it in your research paper.
