Gamification takes learning from a passive state to an active state by transforming study materials into game-like activities. Helix provides two metrics for gauging process. As you complete lessons, you will earn Knowledge Points, and you will have a Knowledge Point goal for each day. Your Study Plan Progress will tell you how much of the course you have completed to date.
Your performance is tracked both subjectively and objectively. After each lesson you will rate your confidence in that area on a high to low scale. There are two objective measures: (1) your average score on Building Block Quizzes, which help tell whether you know the law, and (2) your average score on multiple-choice questions, which tell whether you can apply the law.
