Embedding Streaming Videos in Canvas: Kanopy Streaming Videos

• Search for title or topic in Kanopy.  

• Select video.

• Click on Share located near bottom of video screen

• Click on Embed.

• Copy Embed Code under Embed this video.. 

• Option also available to copy Permalink.

Embedding a playlist beginning at a specific clip.

• To start at the specific clip, add "&pos=#" at the end of the URL in the embed code.

• Replace the # with the position number of the clip within the playlist.

• Example: To begin at the third clip, the URL in the HTML code will look similar to this: https://sfpl.kanopystreaming.com/embed/1234567&pos=3

• Select page where video will be embedded.

• Click on Edit button (upper right).

• Click on Insert and select Embed Icon. 

• Adding page, click on + Page (upper right), name page, click on Insert and Embed Icon.

• Paste Embed Code and Submit

• Click on Save or Save and Publish.
