Publication of Student-authored Dissertations and Theses & Library Policy

Publication of student-authored dissertations and thesis is an essential component of the scholarly research and writing process.
Dissertation and thesis development and publication is guided by the specific requirements of each Barry University academic program.
Guidelines for student dissertations and theses are outlined in the academic program's dissertation and thesis handbooks.
Please see the specific academic program site for access to the most current editions of the handbooks.
Handbooks describe in detail the steps of the research, writing and publication process, offer sample forms, and present form and style requirements.
Students are responsible for ensuring that each of those steps and style requirements are followed, and that all required submissions are made by the specified deadlines.
Because this information is essential and subject to change, and each student is responsible for adhering to all required elements, students should become familiar with the appropriate handbook, and work closely with their academic advisers throughout the writing and publication process.
