Legislative History

Researching legislative history usually involves looking for bills, committee hearing transcripts, committee reports, floor debate in the Congressional Record, and public laws.

Use ProQuest:

  • Documents related to acts that have passed into law:ProQuest Legislative Insight

  • All documents, including those related to bills that never passed into law:ProQuest Congressional
